Krama Knyong Gallery Hayama House (Japan): "Krama knyong is a group of three women who love cloth, travelling and living. We fell in love with krama and the smiles of Cambodian people and came together to spread it. Ms. Natsumi Nakamura is a weaver and is an expert in cloth. Ms. Reiko Ebato is the owner of the Hayama House, and has long been involved in Asian hand craft. And I, (Ms. Wakana Morita) am in charge of taking the photos, designing and the web work. All the krama of "krama"knyong are hand woven in Cambodia, and the weavers are all women. They use traditional wooden weaving machines and weave each krama carefully, one by one. We hope to create a cycle of happiness, where the weavers enjoy the process of creating, the promoters (us) enjoy promoting them, and the users enjoy using them."
